How to search for a specific control (non printable) character ?

Description

  1. Go to the Select files panel.
  2. Select your files in the Files to scan list.
  3. Go to the Tools menu.
  4. Click on the ASCII characters option.
  5. A table of ASCII characters and associated code and keyword is displayed.
  6. Go to the Find and Replace panel.
  7. Select the Use ^... chars option.
  8. Depending on the type of search needed, type in the Find string, Block to replace or Start/End tag fields the keyword corresponding to the control character(s) to be searched for.
  9. Press one of the Find buttons.
REMARK:
It is also possible to insert automatically control characters keywords by clicking on the corresponding character in the ASCII character window. The control character associated keyword is then inserted in the text field currently having the focus.
