How to recursively search through sub-directories ?

Description

When selecting files, Alias Find and Replace can be instructed to search through sub-directories in two ways:
OPTION 1
  1. Go to the Select files panel.
  2. Select (tick off) the Include sub-directories option.
  3. proceed with the file selection (see related topic).
OPTION 2
  1. Go to the Select files panel.
  2. Hold down any of the left or right keyboard SHIFT keys.
  3. The status bar at the bottom of the screen displays REC (The file tree view must have the focus).
  4. Keep the SHIFT key pressed while proceeding with the file selection (see related topic).
Please note that the Include sub-directories option must not be checked for the keyboard shortcut to work.
